Do I need to install anything?
No. ChitPal runs in your browser on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone. No app store, no downloads.

Is it really free?
Yes. Chatting, AI corrections, audio pronunciation, streaks, and certificates are all free. VIP at $3.99/30 days adds unlimited voice calls and voice notes.

Who corrects my mistakes?
Your AI tutor (Sara) corrects grammar in real-time as you type. Native speakers can also correct you — gently, with the fix shown next to your original.

Where are my corrections saved?
Missed corrections are automatically saved to your review notebook. Visit /review to study them with flashcards and quizzes.

Can I hear pronunciation?
Yes — every message can be read aloud. For beginners, pinyin, romaji, and transliteration are shown automatically.

What does VIP include?
Unlimited voice calls, unlimited voice notes, 2× XP, and priority matching. $3.99 per 30 days, billed through PayPal. Cancel anytime.

Can I cancel VIP?
Yes — VIP is a 30-day pass, not a subscription. It expires naturally. No recurring charges unless you renew.

Can I block someone?
Yes — block and report are separate. Block stops all contact. Report sends the conversation to moderators for review.

Is my location shared?
No. Nearby is optional and off by default. Your location is never stored — only used to show approximate distance to practice partners.
